- Variety reported that more women were coming forward and speaking to the D.A.'s office. This was back in April and I don't believe has had any updates since but that is a very important distinction from the Depp situation.

I would agree that it was wrong to call for his firing the moment the story first broke. "Believe women" does not mean "immediately assume the accused is guilty." It means women should be listened to and taken seriously because they rarely are. But let's also not compare this to the Depp case, which was very different.
