I mean... it hasn't. You don't even have interest in the game, so you have no reason to go in that thread, which is the only place where conversation about that game would happen. You can even ignore threads here and it's like they don't exist.

I don't care about that specific game (even tho I'm a HUGE character action game fan), but the whole situation means that Era will still support discussion on whatever gamergate adjacent game releases in the future. Talk about those kind of game means more people know about them, partake on the HYPE and give money to these studios, validating them to fire up devs who speaks up for their own right. That's my problem here. There's already enough space outside to do that, let me have ONE fucking place where that shit is not allowed. ONE. That's all I ask. Where do I look if I want to talk about games with adults who don't kneel to Shift Up?

I was just pondering this and also wondering what drives Rowling to be like this. Suddenly I realised she seems to exclusively write books that center a male character and that spend the most time in that male character's head, and she has tried to write under a male pseudonym. It's all particularly strange since she had a daughter Harry's age when she was writing Harry Potter. Why write about a boy wizard and populate the story with characters that are mostly male and an antagonist authoritarian teacher (I can't remember her name, the one who wears pink and kitten patterns - it's been over a decade since I read the books) who is female and over the top in her femininity?

Sometimes I wonder if her anti-trans vitriol comes from a place of externalizing a rejection that's happening within herself.

I was watching the stream and man the Yovideogame boys sure had a lot of fun praising the game in a way I know would get all of them banned here. Lots of admiring how Eve looked with close up shots to her arse and recognizing the jiggle physics and even having fun with the skin suit. One of the highlights were constantly bringing up the joke how the devs did great accessability wise when they implemented a feature where you can play the game with just one hand while having your other hand on your dick. The joke repeated many times with all of them giggling.

I'm not trying to cancel Max and the boys, fuck no, but maybe we should have similar rules for everyone and point out when they do something wrong even if they don't probably mean nothing bad with it. I just found it weird putting him into spotlight here when in the stream he and the boys did something that would make many posters here feel awkward and demand a ban.

Still chuckling at how ZeoVGM and the others completely disregarded this portion of the post when their favorite streamer was brought up.

I'm not saying Steller Blade needs to be banned or limited or really know what to do, but it feels like the thread is a magnet for gross men to share their grossness, and it feels like it's bleeding over into other threads. Maybe i should just stay out of the threads for popular games

Talk about things you to do help people. Even if it's not directly applicable, it shows that you're a caring person which they look for. This can be in your family, with your friends, in the greater community. One thing that helped us for this stuff is that we're very involved in the local trans community and we for a time helped moderate a local trans server. Shows we want to help people and work with people.

Bridie gets upsetti if I refer to her as a little, due to the shared terminology with DDLG littles, but I do want to specify that she is not literally my daugther or other family relation. To be clear though, headkid is not a term anyone else uses and is something Bridie made up like half a year ago when she found out about DDLG littles during a hospital stay

Yeah I am really worried. My partner is a trans woman in america and she lives in a red w=state with a democratic governor. It feels like things are just one or two bad elections away for her home becoming unsafe for her, and potentially a really bad one away from the entire country and basically no one with any real power is taking a legitimate stand on this stuff and it's just sickening. I feel relatively safe here in Australia but I know that if Sky News ever takes a real foothold in rural Australia, things are likewise a few bad elections away from things getting really shit for trans people, even if things probably won't affect me personally.
Still, getting the public disgusted by trans people seems to be fascists plans for distracting them from all the horrible economic problems going on right now, alongside hte old chestnut of immigrants and wokeness. I don't know, just feels awful
