My question is: when have white people been systemically discriminated against for being white?

Not a foreigner, an occupier/settler, not a different nationality or religion, or being disabled or queer? I'm talking about for being white. Where in the history of whiteness has being white had a systemic, life-threatening downside? And if you can find an example, how has that compared to being Black in that same time period?

I love the idea. It's a nice way to highlight positivity without having to lean on something like an upvote or a thumbs up system. And I'm sure it's great for the staff too because as you said, your main way of actioning posts is a stick, and it'll be nice to approach posts from the opposite angle instead. I can see that being therapeutic in a way.
