Wow, I am absolutely shocked that Trump got convicted in a trial where the judge wouldn't allow the defense to call key witnesses, while letting the prosecution use completely inadmissible evidence, and gave jury instructions that literally let the jury "choose their own adventure" to convict trump of any of 3 different crimes, 2 of which were centered around a federal law that the state of ny has no business enforcing, and the third around a tax law that is also out of a local prosecutor's jurisdiction.

A lot of people get caught up in sham trials for small offenses, owning a bag of weed, prostitution or tax filing errors. They usually don't have the resources and plot armor Trump has. Maybe they will actually support this verdict just because a billionaire didn't get away this time.

Because the point his backers like Ackman and Musk are making is that if they can get Trump, they can get everyone. Which could be less popular of a position than billionaires getting away with everything (sham trial or not).

Walking into a joke about PS5 having no games, but I think dust or something got into the dpad and button cracks of my controller and now it makes a squeaking noise. Very annoying. By comparison, I’m still using a PS4 controller for PS4 BC games and after nearly a decade it’s holding up better. Shite battery life aside. PS5 isn’t much better there.

I haven't really paid attention so is it really what happened, or is it what the "legal experts" in MAGA world are claiming? Because as we've seen countless times before, they're not exactly smart and objective.

I don't necessarily have a complete thought here, but I don't know if we can talk about the transphobia of the modern labour party without also talking about how it is currently letting down vulnerable minorities across the board. And maybe that more complete view is valuable for everyone involved? Maybe!
