Zaslav, apparently: "Well, I was going to renew your show if you got to 1.5 million viewers, but you only hit 1,499,999. So you're cancelled."
If Marvel was still making good movies, we wouldn't have all this division and drama.
"WATCH THIS FUCKING SHOW OR YOU'RE NOT AN ALLY"

sorry bud I don't watch kid shows except for the the vtuber clips that plague my youtube because of the bire.  wag

Actually, recent MCU content has been excellent.

Whew
So it's the non-fans that are rating it up? (Which can't be too many at 37%.)
I take that reviews are bought and paid for.

Most of them know perfectly well the traffickers are lying but they just want to move to the US and Europe based on what they see and read on the internet.
And they also see, hear and read that most countries will not deport them after they enter and an army of lawyers is ready to make their case.

We need to abandon this idea that these people are all too dumb to understand they're being 'tricked' into moving.
The traffickers are simply offering a service for a demand that is already there. The 'advertising' helps but it's not the main reason why they choose to make the trip.

They know that currently at worst they get send back and at best they receive UN issued credit cards, shelter and a possible future in a nation with a GDP 50x - 100x their own.

I can't find the link at the moment but there's a great clip of a turkish dude who crossed the border and immedietly went "wtf why was this so easy you can be letting bad people in" as he gestures to other guys who crossed the border.

Found it

I'll probably leave it running on a screen somewhere in the house to help out at drop, and actually watch it when I'm ready.

How do these people think shows were judged for renewal before...? And how do you know its worth saving if you haven't actually watched it?

I want these shows to survive, but I also don't want to watch them when views matter ??? . Maybe if a show is that uninteresting to you, it's for the best it dies off so something actually worth watching gets a chance? Just think of the marginalized people whose shows will never get a chance because you've left the latest slop running in the background to game the system.
I mean, these dudes buy video games to support them and then don't play them. So this seems more appropriate than them watching shows for the shows.

These users are fucking weird man, like the only kids to I’d watch was teen titans go because my kids watched it but that was humour on a level I liked as well, but looking at that show? It just seems aimed at kids, they’re mentally stunted aren’t they? Just want to be kids permanently
You buy games and don't play them to support the developers and a nebulous socio-political agenda, I buy games and don't play them to increase the size of my Steam library. We are not the same. Snob

Letting the free market decide which shows get renewed and allowing the efficient allocation of scarce resources? That sounds very close to capitalism my friend. Do you need to be taken away for re-education?

Yeah, but have you seen Bluey? Shows like The Wire can't hold a candle to Bluey's social commentary.

Quote:Yea it's very frustrating with how many people watch Star Wars media in bad faith, going into it the intent to pick it apart. It's baffling why so many bother unless "breaking apart Star Wars" has become some kind of cultural trend that eclipses actually "watching and engaging in Star Wars" lol

Enter any tv or movie show thread about anything else blindly and you'll know within seconds when you're on a Star Wars one just based on the language and tone, nothing gets nitpicked as much for what it isn't rather than what it is
Is it tho?
