My thought as somemany who was born in 2001 is that I like the character but due to being too young when DKC Returns came out on wii, and having gotten stuck and frustrated in DKC TF when I was 12, I kind of feel the big thing hurting DK right now is how "core" his main games are compared to Mario or Sonic, or other similar mascit type characters. As such I'm a big fan of DK through Mario Oarty and Smash and Tennis and Golf and Kart, buy I still don't have it in me to give his platformers another go, unless a DKCR3 had a non-Funky difficulty option (He is too masculine and playing as him freaks me out.) This is why I think a 3D game similar in concept to that good feel game from last year (though with more globally accessible setting and more room for monkeying) could be it. Basically linear 3D platformin where you have to collect stuff. More open area like Odssey could be good too maybe. Still, I also feel we still need smaller games, and maybe 2D DK could be a once a system thing still

Ongoing meltdown on resetera over the Supreme Court immunity decision, from a bunch of nitwits who don't understand the constitution or the law, and that includes "educated attorneys" such as Mimic.  Even at the so-called "elite" law schools it's a total left wing blowhard fest amongst both the students and the faculty. I'd estimate the faculty at these schools is roughly 2% right wingers(half of which are never trumper bosh/romney types and a quarter of which are lol-er-tarians) and 98% left.

I'm sure there will be a new DK game soon. It's so sad that all of Nintendo's furry series missed the Switch. I really want DK but I feel it needs a strong sell, I'm not sure there's a big want for many normal 2d platformers outside of weirdos who post on forums. I think 3D platformer or maybe something new like a srpg or something. DK in new York would be cool

The president only has absolute immunity for express constitutional powers; see Article II of the constitution if you need a list.  Official acts only enjoy presumptive immunity and it can be rebutted if said act is beyond his authority.  Frivolously arresting or killing political opponents, canceling elections, and the other things Sotamayor and Jackson screeched about in their dissents are so obviously beyond the president's authority that any presumptive immunity a president claims for would be easily rebutted.  The presumptive immunity requires a high bar to be rebutted because otherwise we'd see former presidents facing questionable prosecutions every time the White House changed parties.  Not to mention there's still the whole impeachment thing preventing a president from acting unlawfully. Unofficial acts have no immunity.

Not to mention all the frivolous prosecutions of a former president are being done either by the current administration in federal courts or in state courts with their blessing and cooperation. You're free to believe what you want, it's still a free country (despite Trump being president for four years, imagine that!)
