It absolutely is political instincts, he took a disastrous situation and turned it into a huge moment for his campaign in the blink of an eye. He knew he wasn't in danger anymore as the SS agents let him know the shooter was dead.

No other Republican or Democrat would have reacted like that - he understands the power of optics and heroic posturing in American culture, no doubt something he learned from his experience in reality TV.

Sometimes I honestly think the Star Wars prequels are some of the most important movies ever made because they gave my generation a prerequisite course on the upcoming Trump era.

Palpatine's plot was instigating a violent conflict over meaningless shit where he controlled both sides of it so that when the GOOD GUYS took the bait he could just waltz into the power they granted him and eliminate his actual target: an opposing elite faction.

I think what annoys me about ZZZ the most is that even with its incredibly uninspired character and game design, and its blatant pandering to the male gaze, it's still raking in the cash and attaining a large ratio of non-male customers. There's just no clear path forward to say "please, just make games for everyone" when this kind of shit clearly works and is highly profitable, and most people just don't seem to care about the aspects that make it off-putting to me personally.

I am still catching up (can’t wait to get to Trump’s assassination attempt), but this right here is what really gets me of the type of people that populate the burka thread and similar topics on twitter. “This is sexist and I hate it and it shouldn’t exist because it is offensive to women, and the FACT there’s so many women actually enjoying the big titty anime sluts makes me SEETHE with rage!”

I've doing a fundraiser position, for the past three weeks and honestly this is the first job that has me breaking down after work from feeling so utterly inadequate. No matter how much I try, how much I try to learn from others on what to say, I could speak to 20,30,40 people and not get one sign up, my colleague can speak to 5 and get two sign ups.

After Standing out all day, giving it my best shot just to go home feeling like you've achieved absolutely nothing. Knowing you're being seen as a weak link by management, just fuels this inner anger towards myself and others, feeling so impotent and shattered. I've turned into a nasty envious person, hoping my colleague doesn't get a sign up before me,

"If I can't get one, I hope you don't get one" I loath that I'm becoming like that, I never wanted to be like that.

I've been trying to learn from them, what they do, but it never works out for me....I just don't know what to do
