Because all their information sources have been telling them this for months and to get outraged about it while ironically sparing them the chance to get outraged at what Trump actually wants to do that may be worse.

If you actually read a lot of this outrage you'll see that they aren't actually so about anything specifically in Project 2025, they rarely name what exactly they're so afraid of, just the whole thing. Even here they're being afraid of cops getting defunded because it's framed within the context of the thing they already know to hate.

Because that's what leftists do. They take some stupid commentary by some random person and attach doomsday scenarios to it without applying any critical thinking. They even do it for their own side with things like climate change. 

Every climate change doomsday prediction has so far come and gone without the end of the world. Their models are based on technological standstill and never account for improvements and efficiencies in energy use and production.

While being compared to the style a lot, Kyle gets frustrated when his work is compared to John Kricfalusi as he believes that his styles have more influence than one. This leads to suspicion as for fans to think that Kyle hates John as John criticized his art work in his blog in 2007 (Kyle e-mailed John when he was younger as well), and as a retaliation, made a Frog Raccoon Strawberry comic that pokes fun at John and his work. Even though at one point, Kyle became aware of the blog (which may hint the reason why he has a grudge against him), he bashes out at others for referencing Kricfalusi and his works. Although he is more laxed at this point, he still wishes to not bring up conversation about his experience with Kricfalusi but was more open to talk about his current and past works such as "Cans without Labels" and his recent sexual allegations. Kricfalusi himself has no recall of Kyle whatsoever though.
