There's just no way you could look at this footage and speculate that the story isn't 100% as her family told it, unless you're...not a great person doing not great things. Are you a bad person, Dyno?

IMO it became pretty evident that the story didn't add up, given the traffic camera footage and her reappearance. It was disappointing that questioning her story was treated as, in the words of the threadmark in the original thread, "Arrogant. Hurtful. Flippant. Dangerous. Cruel" and sexist. While I think, in general, we should 'believe women', I think it's a mistake to make that into literally believing every woman.

The whole idea of human traffickers using a toddler as 'bait' to grab women off the side of a busy highway was pretty strange from the get-go. I think a lot of people have a sensationalised idea of how human trafficking usually happens.

If you don’t want to offer me remote working I’ll just work somewhere else or for myself. My skills are so in demand I have that kind of leverage in the job process. So I don’t think I’ll ever work in person again. Good to hear that the jobs out there will probably remain remotely available, because that especially applies to my field.

Which means it’s possible people in fields like mine are causing this kind of pressure on employers too

He has yet to graduate from grad school. Calling himself a "data scientist" is borderline a lie since he's studying a specific type of biology that nobody thinks of as "data science" in the real world.

I know it's been over 2 years since anyone posted in this thread, but I was curious if anyone else had seen Lily Simpson's new video on CP2077 and had any thoughts on it. They bring up some interesting points, but I feel like they glossed over how CDPR still actively used that "change it up" in-game ad in its own real world marketing. He'll claim that first statement is untrue because he's been a grad lab assistant (no idea if he got "paid" for it or not), but at least half the people in academia don't consider that a real job instead of part of the grad school teaching process and I'm sure few outside of academia do.
