People, use your brains please. Sell your current PS5. Should get you back around £300 or 300€, depending on market conditions where you live and the state the console is in. That's a decent rebate for a decent upgrade in tech.

Around 10% of users bought a PS4 Pro, it'll probably be similar for the PS5 Pro. So it's not like people are going to sell their PS5s in droves and bring down the resale value.

Personally I hope to get about £350 for my PS5, which is the most updated model just before the Slim launch. £700 - £350 = £350. Then £350 + £100 if you want a disc drive = £450 for a PS5 Pro. £350 if you go without. I can certainly live with that.

Potter we literally sent out a huge notice to the entire site, same with CP. If there's a sequel to CP then we'll evaluate that on it's own merits.

What I'm saying is, it's really not hard to avoid getting a thread locked.

I think what you're asking for DinkyDev is a list of banned topics, or topics with specific rules around them.

I don't think there is one that's up to date, and comprehensive. Maybe someone can advise if I'm wrong.

I believe the last dedicated thread for this was the policy update log and that

a) Doesn't clarify some of the stuff you might get in trouble for (no mention of Cyberpunk, sports betting, banned sources, etc)

b) Has been locked and not updated since May 2023

But I also believe you can get more for your launch digital than you might think. I remember being very surprised at how much I got for my PS4 when I upgraded to the PS4 Pro.

In the meantime the folks that trade in don't have a PS5 for a couple of weeks/months at all when the big holiday titles like Call of Duty release.
