4chan had many different communities. You certainly had some bad boards but you also had people sharing amazing content like high-res wallpapers, movie stills, official artwork, fanart and more you couldn't find anywhere else. 

Unfortunately like most online communities that get popular you end up in a place where you have more leechers than contributors.
People consooming content rather than adding to it, bot content and probably state actors.

Last time I looked at it they had one of the worst captcha systems I can think of, probably killing any participation of people who don't want to pay for a pass

And you’d think Sony ponies would be wise enough to not count the chickens before they hatch. Good reviews don’t mean it sells enough to be a success (hi-fi rush).

I don’t know man… The game is probably not a system seller, but PS5 owners who are desperate for a quality first party game will probably purchase this, especially after seeing how impressive the tech looks on it. Like seriously this might be the only next gen game that is truly pushing hardware in a very positive way.

I mean I’d like to see it succeed since I like 3d platformers, but Japan Studio mo at this point is critical acclaim, commercial bomb.

Before our two children I was on board with her desire for 3. It has always been her dream and she was not shy about it.

Skip ahead 4 years and two kids, and I am struggling. Emotionally and physically, I am struggling very hard. I spend about 20 hours a week on side gigs in addition to my full-time job to keep us financially healthy. She also has a full-time job. She thinks it's over kill - she doesn't really get the benefit of contributing to a 401k and thinks social security will cover us in retirement (I've begged her to do her own research) 🫠

I have been very blunt and told her that the last two years has been emotionally difficult. Our son is two and cries and whines a LOT. The first six months felt like torture, being woken up every hour. Now that there are two kids I feel like I'm surviving instead of actually teaching them things. I struggle to convince myself to read to them, I struggle getting them to eat healthy, I just struggle so hard and feel like a failure. Now add a third kid on top of that and I don't think I'll ever be able to have one on one time ever again with them. I struggle so hard not getting the tablet out for them to just rot their brains away.

My wife is adamant that our kids are fine and that the amount of time we dedicate to their development is normal. But it doesn't feel right and I feel like adding another to the family will break me. My wife had a meltdown last night where she said she feels like she's grieving a child that she fully accepted was going to be in our lives. I want to make her happy but beyond breaking myself and potentially the family I don't know how to make her happy.

He would be investing in ways to cut down consumption (not just alternative energy sources, but consumption period.) He'd be for decolonizing the Global South. This guy she's talking to, he's very skinny. A year younger than her… he has half a dozen kids (she doesn't want kids and doesn't like them) that he has nothing to do with, but I guess he's more stylish.
