I wonder how different things would be if they pushed against the cosplayers harder years ago, I know it is difficult to oppose the fetishists and people just wanted to fit in general, but a lot of well intentioned people enabled this dudes for years and the only thing preventing the Trans movement going full laughing stock is that associated with Lesbians and Gays movements (that are mostly legitimized in the western world).

We could do that, but it's also a matter of this is pretty big news and a huge escalation. Like, the sort of thing that could easily lead to a broader conflict, and it probably shouldn't be an update in another thread is all. New thread = more eyes and whatnot.
