I was turned off by the thread the second I saw "genocide" mentioned. I'm not a fan of people using harsh words to get attention or to exaggerate things. If you want people on your side with these issues, you need to not bulls*** them. Once I see someone using hyperbole, I'm out.

There was this whole thing over if avatar 2 would outsell the marvel infinity war movie. They had weekly topics how avatar was secretly a racist story once avatar 2 did in fact outsell the marvel movies.

I've honestly been wondering the same thing. Hezbollah is a serious fighting force, with a large number of trained, armed, experienced fighters. Your average IDF soldier mostly appears to be an undisciplined cowardly genocidal kid who takes shots at unarmed women and children. Like I don't think there's any doubt Israel would win the fight in the long run, but I think they'd get their nose bloodied in the process if they go in for a ground war.

This is going to be horrible, and do nothing more than escalate the situation and perpetuate the cycle of hatred.

Meanwhile the IDF is literally Israels most fit, best and brightest. Mostly 20 - 30 year old reservists professionally trained according to the highest US and NATO military standards, highly skilled, well educated and carrying the most advanced equipment money can buy.

Biggest problem for Israel is the terrain and rules of engagement, Hezbollah/Hamas use IEDs, traps, hostages etc. . IDF can't shoot unless fired upon (although they eased up on this a bit).
