I liked the old (old-old if counting Burton’s) Planet of the Apes series. They got odd..er after the second one. That the newer rebooted franchise started at the fourth and fifth movies and working its way back is an interesting way of handling it.

Danny Trejo is 5’6” and shrinking. Always thought he was tall and meant to be intimidating. In the 2002 classic, xXx, Vin Diesel’s Xander Cage breaks the illusion by calling him short. Easily written off as a joke as Xander is suspended by chains awaiting torture. But Spy Kids shows he is a relatively short man. If you’re wondering why he was intimidating in Desperado, consider that Antonio Banderas is 5’8”.

I'm a non-binary person who sees the platform infested with malicious, bigoted hate directed at me and those I love, not to mention the countless other forms of bigotry that's being actively encouraged there. Hate that is having active effect on the real world.

based on my own follows there appear to be a number of artists, trans writers and game makers, sex worker advocates, anti-racism advocacy organizations that still use the platform for visibility. i am sorry for the ignorance and bigotry you face personally but i think my ability to access the content and information of those aforementioned accounts does not materially affect your personal situation.

It's clear from your first reply that you took this as some kind of sly attack on you, I can promise you it wasn't. Your original comment stated you won't delete it and it isn't a problem for you because you don't see it, but not seeing it doesn't make it go away or lessen its effects.

Use it, I'm not judging you, just be real about the impact supporting these things has. I don't think that's an unreasonable ask or that anything I said was unfair.
