For those that use either, which is the more normal, Threads or Bluesky? Like less psychos and weirdos.

With Twitter I'm not a fan of the layout changes and I find it clunky.

Threads is instagram “models” and “influencers”, bluesky is furry and trans freaks. Some crossover but those are their standard users. Bluesky has seemingly no algorithm so there’s little engagement with anything posted which makes it feel like an empty void

I'm not sure the issue here is that women's bodies are more sexualized. They generally are but if a man wore a low cut crop top like this on a plane he'd probably get told to cover up too.
Dress codes are usually more strict for men and women are able to get away with showing more skin in most situations so I kinda don't give a shit if they weren't here. Being told to cover up your cleavage and/or stomach is not discrimination.

Women's rights or not, I've been on a lot of planes--some in shithole countries!--and those places are packed to the gills with insane T&A. Never seen a woman asked to cover up on a plane before.

It’s tough… I still like Thriller, and the next two albums. It’s not like anybody believed the lyrics were nothing but nonsense. But the visual spectacle of the Michael Jackson stage persona was probably the best part, and his creepiness ruined a lot of shit(Captain EO, Moonwalker, Super Bowl XXVII,  Halftime Show, etc…).

Yet, as of late, it seems most creators I follow are sort of in-between videos, so I miss watching some interesting video in the background.

Yeah, it's baffling how nobody has brought that up. It's impressive how long it took for any readers of the manga to bring up the hot springs assault too.

The manga author's work is indistinguishable from rape fantasy hentai doujinshi in certain moments.

Those themes are all over sexual media in general and honestly, but in this instance I don't know who found any of these things sexy. The bath house thing I didn't remember, probably because it's not nearly to level of graphicness the first instance. Most of that is her literally beating those guys up. No one is saying there's not fan service in the manga though.

Coming off reading Fire Punch (something that this mangaka worked on and that I had to put down several times because of bad it got) I expected there to be some bad stuff in here. And yes, this is bad stuff. Let's not do this thing where where we act like a real person got hurt here.

Nothing to do with it being for kids or not, it's still disgusting regardless. Nope, not going to bother. Because why would I? Do you have any idea how many incredible stories exist that DON'T have this kind of unnecessary bullshit to sit through? Nobody should have to pay the "watch somebody try to rape this high school girl" tax to watch a good show.

There are a lot of incredible stories that don't feature anything sexual at all or if they do it's very light and well done, but there are also good stories that have some horrible things happen in them. Sometimes I am going to choose to wade through there to get to the story especially if it's got something I really like in it. I like these characters, I like the idea of old folklore clashing with aliens, etc. I love the art style and those are the things that made me stick to reading (and now watching it).

I don't really have to agree with everything in a piece of media for me to enjoy it and there is a much higher percentage of this that is the above things I talked about than there is anywhere near the amount people are talking about here.

I'm actually a pagan who follows the Greek pantheon! And I LOVE all of the POC representation in the game, and the way their personalities are written. And you can still tell the writers did tons of research.

If you're interested, the webcomic "Lore Olympus" does some really interesting stuff with the Greek gods as well. However TW: Rape & Abuse, despite that its still very heartwarming and funny.
