I feel like we have a constant deluge of threads on era that in one way or another shows how fucked up the US is, with American users actively expressing despair, frustration, hopelessness at the awful state of things in the US. Often pointing to other first world countries as proof things don't have to be the way they are in the US.

Yet the moment someone from those first world countries also points that out, US users here get hyper defensive and combative towards said nation.

Threads like that really re-emphasise how isolated extreme left wing communities are becoming. Everywhere you look, the tide is turning towards the right. Not extreme right, not far right, but 'common sense' right.

I was looking at a few threads on Reddit a few days ago and there were a couple of articles about transgender athletes being banned from competing in women's sports in the UK (and elsewhere). A year ago, the comments would be screaming about how everyone is a TERF, transphobic, trans-genocide, etc, etc.. the usual bullshit. 

But now the comments are all similar variations of 'a very sensible decision, being born a male will give you competitive advantages no matter what'. 

It's still only on ResetEra, and a few other places, where the left wing are completely and utterly crazy.

I refuse to see the trans issue in the light of 'left' or 'right'.  There is nothing 'right wing' about not wanting a child to be given drugs that will render him unable to orgasm as an adult - and lots of people on the left agree with that.  This is just zealotry and cultism, in the same way that vaccine-denialism isn't 'right wing', it's just crackpotism. Maybe crackpotism is quelling in the same way that kooks don't talk about 'chemtrails' so much anymore. And FWIW, I have met a few people IRL that behave like someone on Resetera; race-obsessive, blaming white people for every problem, seeing everything as a power dynamic etc....and these people are always marginal people with no power, listless, and are more interested in showing you how indignant they are, rather than doing anything about it. In other words, almost invisible. I would imagine those traits carry over to retards that blame the Jews for everything.

So last week I was with my girlfriend and two friends of hers and we ended up playing Mario Kart 8 on Switch.

As a joke I said that the losers of each track should take a piece of cloth off (knowing I was always winning anyway lol).

After the next track, my girlfriend surprisingly too her shirt off, and the rest followed.

Many races later, everybody was fully naked except me (won every single race) so it was a bit awkward but still a very fun experience.
