We have forever to discuss this at length, but I truly don't think a magical leftist unicorn candidate does better. No one in rural counties in red states cares about anything that candidate wants to accomplish, even if you magically gift that candidate with the charisma of Barack Obama.

Any (D) candidate, even Obama 2.0, would have had to navigate the inflationary conditions that occurred under the Biden presidency -- and would've had to navigate a losing position in the social/culture war among key demographics, such as young men.

I don't know what the solution is, but "she should have supported X position" ain't it. And I don't know who else you could've enlisted who could've done better.

Honestly, the fact that Kamala has improved significantly over Biden's numbers in 100 days is a testament to the strength of her candidacy and her campaign.
