That interview is a great example of the pointlessness of debating conspiracy theorists. You can't win as they can just keep throwing random shit that they've made up at you. There's another where Trump starts ranting about election fraud. Baier brings up that ballots in six battleground states had been inspected and they found fewer than 475 cases of fraud. Trump's response was that it was because "they were counting ballots, not the authenticity of the ballots.". There's always something new when evidence is provided to refute their points.

Yup. I learned this lesson growing up with my sociopathic older brother. He was actually quite poorly educated and never showed much of an aptitude for anything involving real lived experience, but he was an “expert arguer” because he didn’t have the slightest compunction about resorting to gaslighting, whataboutism, and outright lies, while never conceding anything or betraying a lack of confidence in the shit he was spouting, in order to “win”. People like that you can make absolutely no headway against no matter how much logic and evidence you bring to the table and it’s the essence of futility to waste oxygen trying to do so.

Embarrassed for a lot of friends right now that are acting like the Death Star exploded or some shit just because a couple of rich guys got lost at sea.

The really embarrassing part is these are friends I've stuffed myself into music venues with the size of a sheet of plywood for 20 years now suddenly having the balls to mock other people for their poor life choices. Same people that got super angry when a well known figure in the hardcore scene cracked jokes about a bunch of ravers dying in a warehouse fire and excusing it as a bunch of snotty rich kids.

On a purely visceral human level, I can't imagine how grim a situation this must be to either be slowly crushed to death or lose air like that - hopefully if they're already gone it was a quick death.

I'd definitely be interested in watching the documentaries that will doubtlessly come out of this, this feels like a story straight from the Discovery Channel circa-2003.

Pretty sure if B-Dumbs didn't say a thing this user would have joined those that were celebrating.

The privacy aspects of this app and all apps and all websites absolutely should be a concern but the way people are talking down to people for using the app is gross. As a trans woman I've found a lot of helpful resources for my transition there. So maybe think about someone other than your cishet ass before you speak.
