It's awful. With one caveat.

If I was like a 5'2" guy who didn't have a toxic personality, but height was proving an issue AND if having a partner was central to my life goals, I could see myself moving to a country with a lower average height for the folks I was interested in dating.

This is probably less than 1% of the people we're talking about who are 99% misogynists angry at women in their home country. But as a shortish guy (5'7") I do have some sympathy for guys even shorter than me. It's not impossible to find someone, it happens - but it is extremely difficult. So if they're not shitty people, I wouldn't be able to fault them for trying other countries in this case. Again, I know this is a minority case.

Not really a fan, especially since according to the leakers she's the only new character in patch 5.1. Though the leakers also say she's being positioned to be one of the most busted supports in the entire game, like above Bennett and maybe even Zhongli-tier, and everyone who plays Genshin knows exactly what that means.

TBH it feels like a lot of the Natlan designs veer way into fetish fuel territory, compared to characters of the other Genshin nations. The designs of characters in the other nations are rather cohesive, but the Natlan characters are very lacking in that department. They all reek of 'let's throw everything at the wall and see what sticks'.

She's definitely designed in a way for the guys who are whales to pull for her. I mean, look at that junk in the truck. Her outfit reminds me of what the female Blacksmiths would wear in Ragnarok Online....and maybe crossed with the outfits from the Creator/High Wizard classes. They're definitely going with the "Daisy Duke Blacksmith" trope.

I do like her cute cat-like features and if she's a better support than Zhongli, whoo boy, I might actually have to dethrone him for the cheetah then. It'll really be dependent on her skill usage because my Zhongli is at C5 and she's going to have to really be broken at C1 or C2 to make me knock a C5 Zhongli off.

Well, the irony is that the people upset by politics in games are the ones that are creating the political conversations and causing more people to analyse games through that lens.

Games were always political, and ignoring their politics was in itself a political action. These players are creating the political discourse by expressing that they are upset that games aren't exclusively being made that are just for them, that their privilege is being eroded. Representing diverse ethnic groups in a game, or recognising people's gender identity in a game, is not the developer making a political statement, any more so than the entire primary cast of Uncharted being white is political (I'm not saying there's anything wrong with Uncharted being that way, I'm saying that we should be able to have games that have more consideration for other people too).

Playing games from the 2000s where women are treated as objects and narrative plot devices and ignoring that as consumers is political action. Just because we have more open discourse does not mean games or gamers were apolitical or better before . Yes, players might have been happier if more games were for them, but do you not think women are happier now that more games are made for them too?

This is defining "political" so broadly as to make it meaningless. In fact, you're defining political in a very specific way, namely in a way in which you can castigate anyone who disagrees with you on politics as being insufficiently moral.

This is both historically and logically the claim of totalitarians. You might as well argue that you can't be a rapist because every one you rape is actually truly consenting. Or perhaps you're just raping in self-defense since their refusal to consent to sex is a violent act of rape against you.

It's much better for the resistance to come from within the country in the form of revolutionary resistance groups that adhere to leftist guerilla uprisings. These resistance groups tend to have much more gender equality and rely on the peasantry to overcome oppressive governments.

Indonesia, Colombia, Vietnam have all had revolutionary guerilla groups to counter right wing ideology, those right wing groups are usually propped up and funded by the west.

Some of you know me well enough to know that Erotic photography is something I enjoy making (not porn there is a difference).  My fiancee is a minor alt/fetish model who has done photoshoots for Horror Chix (now defunct), Spooky Girls, Whipsmarts Inc and Ink & Pink.

The site isn’t fully open yet but I decided I’d post a link to it here (and it will go in my permanent links too)  It’s called Alice Malice’s Wonderland and it will contain alt, cosplay and fetish photography of an erotic type.  I do all the photography except in a few rare exceptions (we are thinking of letting some of the girls who were on Horror Chix get their pictures up there too since the site is dead and they gave all the pictures back) so it’s a great outlet for both of us.

That being said, it’s going too be a membership site with one set of free pictures/content a month.  The cost of the site is going to be $10 a month which is extremly low for this sort of thing.
