I love that even the privileged members, when they finally get a mere slap on the wrist after getting away with all sorts of BS for years, immediately proclaim how actually ERA is a terrible, oppressive place. Which is true to a large extent, but that's criticism they would've dismissed as right-wing chud talk until very recently. Easily dismissed and ignored. Depends on which end of the horseshoe you ask. The right, shockingly, blame Jews. The left, in keeping with spite and resentment ideology, see it as payback for colonialism.

Of course it raises other questions. How are groups of people from halfway across the globe decolonizing cultures they’ve never been of? Well, the far left don’t see them as people. All this confusion on the left regarding the Israel Palestine conflict seems to come from whether they think jews are white or not. The whole modern ideology seems to break apart as soon as you can't point to white supremacy as the ultimate bad guy. If this shit had happened in South Africa and they had done the same atrocities to white farmer families you'd probably have a very united left endorsing it.
