I kinda feel bad for Todd and the Starfield team. The game certainly isn't bad and probably their least buggy release yet. But it just got upstaged by better games.

It landed right in the middle of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom and Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 / Phantom Liberty.
Zelda is absolutely flawless and filled to the brim with cum fun quests and a ton of interactivity. Cyberpunk without bugs is far more impressive from a technical perspective especially with RTX Path Tracing enabled. The difference in animation and cut scenes is night and day.

Finally there is story telling and Alan Wake II dropped, which is if not the best certainly the most creative story telling in a third person action video game ever.
Starfield had an FMV trailer, Alan Wake II has an FMV musical as a backdrop for the recap of the original game.
