The idea that the Pokemon designs are first and formost "cooked up in a lab" by a marketing team just doesn't make sense even superficially given the time frame these games come out in and the amount of monsters added per generation. And it makes even less sense if you just fucking Google the individual creature designers of each Pokemon.

1 is explicitly something you are not supposed to do, generally. Not without some good reason as to why you didn't bring up an issue as soon as you were made aware of the infringement.

Personal opinion? Not even thinking ironically, I think what you said has a higher chance of holding true than not. I feel that once its momentum slows it's not going to be able to reignite and it will be a story of "remember that one hot game?" before the end of the year.

Oh absolutely there's a chance, regardless if TPC actually lifted a finger to do anything or not.

Even the biggest games get forgotten in the modern streamer-driven, monster of the week era of today. It's normal to fall off the top of the food chain, but it's interesting how many games that rise to the top don't just fall off the top, but fall off of the zeitgeist of which they were formerly a grand part. Like the slight difference between Fall Guys and Among Us, for example, or New World vs. FFXIV. The latters are still a stronger part of the zeitgeist than the formers, but both latters and formers had huge blow-ups.

We'll see if Palworld has the staying power of Genshin or the more flash in the pan instance of Flappy Bird but if Pocketpair and big studios in the similar ecosystem are smart, they'll take this opportunity to invest in the necessary resources to sustain it long-term.

Exactly, just look at Mid Wizard Game. Nobody even knows what that was. People didn't even remember it came out in 2023.
