The gimp hath spoken
Now it will be bannable to say frame rate isn't an accessibility issue
What exactly is the medical condition that causes you to have ‘negative’ physical reactions? Hell, describe those ‘negative’ reactions that are most definitely not in your head caused by higher than 30fps games.
Ra is fucking retarded, full stop.
Brave of them to suffer in silence for all those years when almost everything was 30fps or lower.

It's not that he has dirt on them, it's that
1. He works for Bloomberg and therefore his assorted hit pieces articles have the potential to negatively impact share prices because financial chuds read whatever BS he's pulling out of his ass and take it at face value and act accordingly with investments (CDPR can attest to this amongst others).
2. He's notoriously thin-skinned to the point where he regularly blocks anyone who remotely disagrees with his opinion on Twitter.
Is it worthwhile for Era Moderation to show him the door and possibly deal with the potential blowback from MOBA when Shreier writes a series of articles about what a toxic mass of landfill one of their assets is, especially given the questionable conduct of its moderation team?
I mean he certainly isn't the first person they'd have banned for things they've said off-site, which by any measure is the absolute height of insanity versus how they comport themselves on a forum.
Weirdly I was chatting to a content creator the other day and mentioned Era and they said that's exactly how they got permed. Apparently, they liked a tweet someone wrote, someone at Era Moderation spotted it and they weren't happy about it and they wrote them a DM and said that has 12 hours to respond to explain themselves and if they didn't they would be banned. The dude was asleep, and never even read the DM as they don't sit on the site 24/7 (having a life and all), just woke up to find they'd been banned for failing to address the concerns raised in the time frame given. Absolute madness.

I personally hate that buying publishers is a thing now (I don't imagine Sony or Nintendo will follow with this practice) and I would rather none of the ever get a publisher, but it seems like we're heading into a future where publishers will unfortunately continue to be bought - and only by Xbox.
Did they forget Sony bought Bungie?
One of the first things Sony did as it prepared to launch the PlayStation was to acquire Psygnosis, one of the biggest European publishers of the 80s and early 90s.

Sony fans are the absolute worst. They've been empowered to be absolute shit on Reeeeesetera because they have been given free reign by the idiot mods of Neogoof and now Reeeeesetera for decades.

Crossing Eden mad that a videogame has a female character that dares to be flirty. Big surprise that even when a female character like Jessie shows nothing but agency over her sexuality they're still getting upset

Absolute madness. I don't think you understand the kind of sensitive information the staff has to be trusted to manage to keep members of the forum safe. These are life and death issues they have to become experts on, real people's lives are in their hands. And it's thankless, not only are they sent pictures of trans people that they may have to report to the FBI but the members of the forum try to harass them into getting paid for their ceaseless labor and sleepless nights. If it wasn't for the social comradery developed from having to get at least two other staff members to sign off on every action before it happens and the regular meetings to discuss every ticket extensively I can't even imagine how many staff members would have to continue posting while On Break and the entire forum might collapse.
If mods react to someone liking a tweet like this I wonder if there was some internal fallout over Coldsun daring to play Hogwarts

Why do these trans women keep liking cyberpunk, the most transphobic game of all time

False consciousness Internalized transphobia is a serious problem in the trans community and, like discourse, it needs to be stomped out.

pride month continues:
Quote:Stacie-Marie Laughton, a former New Hampshire state representative who identifies as a transgender woman, was detained Thursday on allegations of disseminating "sexually explicit images of children."
Laughton, who is biologically male, initially won a legislative seat in 2012, but his tenure was short-lived due to an ongoing probation period following a 2008 credit card fraud felony conviction, Fox News reported.
Despite a criminal past peppered with additional charges, including a bomb threat directed at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in 2015 and misuse of the state's 911 texting system in 2021, Laughton managed a re-election in 2022. However, a subsequent jailing on multiple counts of stalking prevented him from taking up the position.
The saga took a grimmer turn on Thursday, with Laughton slapped with four additional counts of purportedly distributing images depicting child sexual abuse.
Nashua Police Department's public information officer, Sgt. John Cinelli, stated that their investigation into the allegations commenced on Tuesday.
“They spoke with reporting parties that indicated Laughton distributed sexually explicit images of children.”
The findings prompted detectives from the special investigations division to secure an arrest warrant for Laughton.
The 39-year-old now faces arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court South on Friday. Laughton’s criminal history extends back to 2002, with previous arrests for domestic violence/criminal mischief and sexual assault on a woman.
Laughton, in the past, has attributed his criminal behavior to "mental illness." After an arrest for issuing a bomb threat, he shared with the New Hampshire Union Leader, "I have had a mental illness my whole life, and I guess this was my worst break with it... I wasn't trying to hurt anyone, and it was totally out of character for me... I never thought I would do this in a million years."

I don't know how much the rest of you know about Gamer culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in Japan where you can become successful by being an asshole. If you screw Gamers over, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.
What this means is Gamers, after hearing about this, is not going to want to purchase Call of Duty for either system, nor will they purchase any of Microsoft's games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Microsoft has alienated an entire market with this move.
Microsoft, publicly apologize and confirm Call of Duty for PS5 or you can kiss your business goodbye.
I wonder how Era will cope with this, they hate gaming crunch, I wonder if this will be any different. Especially considering it’s a trans icon film
