Her ignorance is so great. Solar and wind require a massive system of production and waste because their efficiency is so awful. They don't even disperse into the atmosphere like oil and gas does, that's waste that will sit around for ages. And it's not tiny amounts like nuclear (which she opposes) it's massive amounts of waste when that shit fails or breaks down or simply gets disposed of. We're not even talking about the massive footprints these things require to even work in the first place or to manufacture them or the resources necessary for them. Or that these require massive amounts of fossil fuels inherently.

She's basically arguing "assume away physics" as if that should be the reasonable default assumption. As if that's why billions of people should be forcibly impoverished because she can imagine a world where physics operate differently. As if that's the reason to actually create a "ridiculous system of production and waste" rather than use superior means and growth. As if that's the reason to seize the labor of untold numbers of people to deliberately establish a system of subsistence living.

She's so spiteful because everyone else isn't as stupid and stunted as she is. I bet all of the morons over there would tell me Hayek was wrong when he argued the logical inevitability that "the worst get on top" in authoritarian systems.

Imagine being a WWE fan on Resetera. Not only does your product promote individuals who make rape jokes after the McMahon drama, but you also can't say a word as the AEW OT shitposts about your show. 

It's become increasingly obvious that there needs to be a corner of Resetera reserved for the WWE. As most fans know, there is a very, very long history of controversies with the WWE, and now most recently with the Vince Lawsuit (Major CW: SA)

However, there needs to be space for fans of the IP to be able to discuss the program. You can still enjoy a product, but still despise atrocities that have occured.

In this thread, fans can not be accused of condoning these atrocities nor will fans be able to snipe at other wrestling promotions. Other wrestling promotion fans can not snipe at people who participate in this thread either.

I went to a BDSM munch once last year by myself and had a panic attack 30 minutes in and then left. I went to something more, uh, explicitly sexual let's say a month ago and had a good time, though also felt awkward for gender-related reasons.

And the other one is long-distance and someone I don't see too often.

None of my business, but I'm admittedly very curious about this.

I'm nonbinary and pre-everything in terms of medical stuff. If you saw me in public you'd probably assume I'm a cis guy, though I also don't really appear very masc by cis guy standards. My girlfriend is someone who helped me through a lot of gender stuff (before I really understood everything about myself), and through it all would sometimes comments insinuating that she was attracted to me. One time she said something like "oh, not that I'm dating you or anything" and I replied "yeah I know, it wouldn't really make sense for you to date me since you're a lesbian and I have a masc body currently," and she replied "oh I don't really mind that you have a masc body, when I look at you I just see a feminine person". Years later I decided to ask if she was attracted to me and wanted to have a romantic relationship and said yes, and said that she doesn't perceive me as a cis guy.

This affects these sorts of things though in the sense that I'd only really be able to go to ones that let in masc-aligned people, but my gf wouldn't really be interested in anyone who isn't feminine.

Weirdly I've hardly dated any straight women ever, most people I've dated are bi, even before I realized I wasn't cis, so maybe people just have some kind of underlying gender-dar when it comes to dating or something.

 That's what we call a feminization fetish.
