Intersex people are still male or female, they are not a third (or fourth or fifth or sixth) sex. They fail to express characteristics properly, not pick and choose what they wish to express or emphasize. If this wasn't the case and they were just a sexual variation you wouldn't know what was wrong with them.

More importantly and relevantly, they are not trans, so they would still be cis or biological under those terms.

Are y'all prepared to prevent this place from turning into the bad faith shit show it did in 2020? When long time members with institutional knowledge were chased off this site by bad actors using moderators like a bludgeon. Bad actors who have been, almost to a person, banned due to the growing transparency of their actions.

Many of the biggest gender crusaders on resetera have an evangelical christian background, and a fair few of them from the loopier sects like the mormons, adventists and witnesses too. I once spent 3 days at work procrastinating by reading the old mormon thread on Neogaf. I reckon a bunch of them are now the uwu anime avatar brigade.

if you're trans you need to start thinking about what your bright lines are, what you're willing to do for your dignity and your community when they're crossed, and who will be alongside you doing it, regardless of whether or not we have mass mobilization behind us at that point.

I feel like if you know it is safe and viable for you, getting armed is a start.

Conversely, despite what you might see from transphobes and bigots, "cis" is not a slur. It's existed as a Latin term for many years (with "trans" and "ultra" being antonyms) and for something to be a slur it has to be used in a derogatory, pejorative manner. "Cisgender" is just a descriptor of those who are not transgender.

Considering that people are trying to make "cissupremacy" happening you're on a good path to make it a slur

it's a delusion brought about by groupthink and statistics that get parroted constantly devoid of context

"trans people are murdered for being trans all the time, among the highest demographics for domestic violence," "there's an actual genocide going on," you need to strap up to protect yourself

when many of those situations are brought about by people who put themselves in bad situations (becoming sex workers etc.) and make long-term poor choices

it's as unrealistic as the satanic panic or christians wailing about signs of the end times and rushing to buy bakker's buckets

I keep trying to make friends but for some reason people just don’t like me man. I don’t get it. I’m a nice guy, have lots of interests… but I feel like there is something innately about me that turns people off. I just want friends I can hang out with, go see a movie or concert, play a game. I don’t have that. It just makes me sad and makes me feel like a loser. I’m at a loss with what to do. I guess I’m just destined not to have a close friendship outside of my marriage.
