I'm really a big fan of the position Todd is in and how Bethesda is outputting. It's fab to have a true fan of games who can understand that yes isn't always the right answer and it's ok to wait.

Yeah we've had mystery joint pain for like 2 years now (they can't find a cause so it's probably an auto immune thing but I have so much going on that I haven't had time to see a rheumatologist) and like unless I'm on opioids post surgery any game that requires using the trigger buttons or rapid pressing of buttons just hurts too much to play for more than 15 mins. We still try but basically any action game is not for us any more.

To add, there’s a whole conversation about the actor playing mothers milk. He lost so much weight, it was written into the show, and they came out and reassured audiences the character wasn’t recast. People naturally notice dramatic changes. Whether it’s a health crisis, surgery, ozempic, crack, etc.

LotF is definitely better than the PS4 original, but that's not saying that much. It's still a very janky and unfair game with a lot of really poor game design and level design decisions that just mix together to make it feel like an inferior knockoff of Souls instead of a confident, distinct game with a real purpose.
