I don't like this guy at all. I hate him. HATE. But I've been with people who've crumbled in really bad situations where you thought they wouldn't and those who you thought would crumble but didn't... and I have respect for this dude now. I do not give a shit what anyone tells me. And even -IF- he had the fucking wherewithal to pull himself together in milliseconds to use this as an opportunity to spin this as a positive for himself, then that makes him one badass villain and he probably deserves the win.

You can't write a better villain arc than this. It is fucking crazy. Things people would obsess over if it was a streaming series.

I was surprised Trump was able to make a photo op out of it. After just being shot I really don't think most people's instinct would be to get up fist bump and yell "fight" while not knowing if the shooter (or shooters) were even neutralized yet.

Like, man. Trump gets grazed, I'm sure that stings. He gets up, and his first instinct is to make a photo op. Two people are dying in the stands. Multiple shots have rung out. There could be more shooters. The secret service are using their bodies to protect his fucking life. And Trump still stalls and puts them in further danger so he can make a photo op. Doesn't ensure that everything is safe or even that the people around him are okay.

He was showing he was okay, they absolutely told him the shooter was down. The Secret Service isn't going to let him check on other people.
