I think it's simpler than that. It's less that creepy people end up in positions of power disproportionately often, and more that when people abuse DO their power it does damage, while the people who don't are the default. The people who don't abuse their power don't make waves and don't merit mentions.

Like, when I was a young actor a decade or so ago, an artistic director tried to convince me to do "private" rehearsals for a play at his house and kept asking me how comfortable I was with nude work. He assumed that since I was a young actor who fit the classical twink look, I MUST have been cool with that stuff, and he asked about it repeatedly until I got so uncomfortable that I cut ties with the theatre for good and alienated a bunch of friends over it because I didn't want to talk about it in public.

This seemed like the only topic where I could appropriately discuss this, but I was browsing Google doing searches on my username as I tend to do occasionally because of harassment happening in the past on GameFAQs, and came across a place called TheBire?

Much to my surprise it's another forum that seems terminally online to shit talk what other users on ResetERA do, especially minorities and people who are opposing political alignments. And, apparently, I'm a popular subject of shit-talking on that platform.

Should I be worried? lol

Is it normal to have an entirely different forum and thread devoted to spying on Reset 24/7? It just seems like a really weird thing to do.

Just a curiosity, how do you prefer to enjoy your Birthday? To be clear today isn't my Birthday but been writing birthday cards so had it in my brain.

Personally I usually keep them quiet, I've thankfully have never had to experience a surprise party (in my experience, the people I've know who've done so are narcissists who couldn't give a damn about the well being/wants of the person their celebrating, make it all about them, bully the victim of the surprise party then leave the house a mess for the victim to clean up... So yeah thank fuck I've never had a surprise party) which is good given my social anxiety. I had one planned party but didn't like it.

I usually spend the day taking a nice walk, eating all the cake (my policy is that my birthday cake is mine, but also their cake is there and they should have it all to themselves, I bake my parents B-Day cakes every year), eat Vindaloo and maybe go to the Cinema... Assuming I'm not working that day of course.

They found us, so it is finally time to unburden myself and reveal the TRUTH about TheBore, TheBire and ResetEra.
