It is very, very clear that work from home employees are less productive than in-office employees, and even if they are somehow able to maintain their productivity, their inaccessibility to other employees makes it overall a less productive office environment.

I rewatched the clip and realized he also said "haitian (n-words)", basically speaking aloud the n-word while referring to black people.

Now I honestly do believe it's a fairly reasonable assumption to think "okay, maybe it's possible this guy is racist, and has been saying n-word to peers behind closed doors, which is it why it slipped out so easily when referring to haitian immigrants"

But again, tongue twists and freudian slip ups do happen, no matter one's beliefs, and it's not ""dismissing racism"" to simply acknowledge that. It can go either way, and a tongue slip is not conclusive evidence. It certainly wasn't on purpose though, because nobody wants to subject themselves to getting cancelled over a tongue slip, and I think a truly racist conservative is going to make their racial beliefs known in more direct and concrete ways.

Also I do think it matters if he's actually racist or not, because I simply don't think a white person that's meaningfully racist against black people is going to give the fairest, least biased assessment regarding black immigrants..... let's all be honest here..... but that's probably a subject matter not really relevant or all that interesting to the forum right now.

Guys, like.  This is all fun and stuff, the resetera shit...real good laughs all around and stuff.  But I just got served an entire podcast about da poo poo man, a fictional character i came up with 5 minutes ago, and I am pulled in like an episode of Hardcore History, of my own character.  Who shits profusely on the floor.  Can you not see the future before us?  The mystery and wonder that AI will bring?

This thing is pretty amazing. I just got it to create a 4 minute deep dive into the psychology of my WhatsApp group with my hunting friends. 

Prompt: Podcast about a group of middle aged men who have a WhatsApp chat group where they talk about hunting. Although, most of the chatter is about 80s action movies and making gay jokes about each other. They frequently use the word cunt, mostly as a term of endearment.

On the recent relationship threads, living at home, and everything else. Once again I find it striking how low quality the user base is. There’s nothing wrong with living at home, to clarify. Or many of these in isolation. But that it’s not uncommon among these 30 to 40 year old men. Are there any winners posting there? Any positive role models for the younger posters who somehow ended up on era?

Naturally these hobbies attract certain types. But I swear there was a point when you had ordinary guys on gaf to talk about stuff they couldn’t among polite company. Sales potential of Wii Music and whatnot.

Or many of these in isolation. But that it’s not uncommon among these 30 to 40 year old men. Are there any winners posting there? They have managed to alienate all of those people through their mental bans and crazier and crazier leftist politics. 

Look around here. Mostly normal people who have jobs and families and can function in normal society. I'd say that this place generally leans pretty progressively politically too (on a global scale).

Wow, very based CEO. I knew there was something special about the Space Marine game, and perhaps this is one of the reasons why. The devs and the CEO just wanted to make a cool old school game that's fun for everyone. Nothing bogged down by obnoxious modern western politics that's plaguing games today.

My point is the exact opposite actually. If he actually said it, instead of it being a misheard stumble, then he would have reacted or flinched or had some indication that he thought he was clever. The lack of a reaction says to me that people are just mishearing it.

I mean let's use his example of Halo, wasn't that game saying genocide is bad since the Covenant wants to kill humans and religion and hierarchy should be criticized since the Prophets had a coup and led the Covenant to a war because they got spooked by humans being inheritors to Forerunners. I always love when they try the argue how actually every game is super preachy and imposes morals. 
Saying humanity shouldn't be wiped out is hardly an anti genocide message as it just has no real world context. Clearly there's difference between Halo and Detroit Become Human with its robot concentration camps but they want to act like it's one and the same. (Bonus points because in David Cage games they're actually upset by the clumsy politics as well)

As far as I'm aware, there are only 3 people on Resetera who could probably qualify as "good role models". And they certainly do not post frequently at all.

This one user who was a buff man with a wife and a house, maybe some kids (not too clear on the house and kids part, I only vaguely remember seeing a picture of him at the gym with a woman who seemed to be his wife). Didn't seem to be a disgusting mentally ill woke little pussy bitch like the rest of them. Only other thing I remember about him was he had caught a ban for saying Dead or Alive shouldn't tone it's titty fanservice down, saying that it's fine for men to like big boobs and the prudes are overreacting. He seemed to have been permanently banned years ago. I don't remember his username.

Geoff Keighley and Maximillan Dood, who are known internet personalities. Both of them make a good amount of money doing what they enjoy, are well-groomed normal looking men, are almost never regarded as shitty people, and seem to be pretty cool, down to earth people. Naturally, they barely ever post on Resetera at all, and they rarely ever join in on the conversations.

Honestly I think it could one of be three scenarios:
1. Simple stumble mistake / freudian slip
2. Simply repeating what the racist neighbors had said, but realized a split second too late that he shouldn't repeat it word for word, quickly swapping out the n-word for migrants.
3. He's racist and calling them the n-word is what came from his own mind.
