Nah. That's the kind of trick you save for when you need it. Sources coming out now that the pagers were intercepted, and had 20 grams of PETN (an explosive) placed on the batteries. Then you just raise the temp of the battery to trigger. Either through software hack or just pinging the pager over and over without actually sending a message.
