Hell no. People into farts, messed diapers, and whatever other scatological fetishism are all fucking sick in the head.

I mean "big wet stinky gamer farts" could probably make for a funny, non-sexual meme. But as an actual fetish? Actual mental illness.

I like how all the "wild" examples in that thread are tame for the 1970's.

The second one is barely even really risque, that's a very old joke with a very bad setup and poor execution. Broadcast TV was doing that joke the decade prior.

It's also made me look at my phone in a new way. The idea that its battery could be laced with potent explosives by a State actor that could kill or injure me and those around me at the simple issuance of a code. When you hug your baby, should you make sure you have no electronic devices near? Generally, we trust our devices aren't made with homicidal intent. As a Westerner, I'll be safe for now (though who knows what this all leads to), but why exactly should people in Lebanon not be?

We should be having empathy at how utterly fucked up and terrifying it is to not be able to trust your devices not to kill you at the command of a hostile government. This is the root of the vile, positive reactions to this: lack of empathy from the blanket dehumanisation of entire nations of people. Racism. What Israel has done is a bald act of mass terrorism, but they have also done it in a new and terrifying way that undermines the basic safety of all our lives in a fundamental manner. This is the most dystopian shit imaginable and the fact racists are approving of it because of who it happened to is disgusting.

Israel--the state, the government and military--is a clear danger to the entire world and it is apparent there are no limits to its depravity. Our only hope seems to be the people of Israel who are fighting against this fascism succeed in bringing their country away from its evil path. Unfortunately, they seem to be a minority.

This whole generation is just a steaming pile of shit with no purpose or actual compelling reason to buy into it.

I own one and so far I'm pretty happy with it. Some games I own and really like are: Demon's Souls, Sackboy, Returnal, Ratchet & Clank, God of War Ragnarok, Spider-Man 2, FF16 and FF7 Rebirth and Astro Bot on it.

The controller as well I think is a nice edition if developers take advantage of it. Which lets be honest is mostly 1st party or like exclusive games like the Final Fantasy games. I will say though because I bought the version before they made it smaller, thing is massive and quite the pain in the ass to make it look presentable in your entertainment setup.

PS5 is peak arrogant Sony. I won't buy a PS6 at launch because of it. Playstation has basically been my main since inception aside from switching teams during the 360 era (and yeah, even then I spent 599$ US DOLLARS on a PS3) but fuck them and the PS5.

I hide mine in shame behind my TV

If you're all being honest, it's really a PS4ProPro. Outside of a handful of games, everything has been released on the PS4 and, of those that haven't, at least some could have been.

Yeah I agree, I bought it off the hype (being a sega kid I never played a Zelda game before) and after about 40-50 hours of it exploring the open world and killing 2 of the bosses I gave up, it’s a glorified science kit which is cool and all but it’s not an experience I want to keep coming back to, just feel its trademark Nintendo and unless you have the nostalgia of the franchise from when you were kid living at home with no responsibilities then it just doesn’t cut it.
