Let me be clear. I'm not an Uber Linkin Park fan. I've always enjoyed their music and I've listened to it since the beginning occasionally. Up until the comeback, I never realized how many songs I actually knew and knew well.

In this case I simply don't give a shit about the drama, like most people on the gaming forum don't give a shit about the people behind games like Black Myth Wukong.

This is not a Michael Jackson, P. Diddy or R. Kelly situation.

In such extreme cases, I also can't differentiate the artists from their art and I can't listen to their music without disgust.

For the time being, I can still listen music made by Linkin Park and enjoy movies starring Tom Cruise or John Travolta.

Holy fucking shit how can one person be so absolutely BASED when dismissing concerns. All future gaming and comedy threads need this posted in their OPs.

"I’ll not regret my decision no matter what the outcome would be, and I’m ready to face the consequences. For this, and for many other reasons, I announce my support and endorsement for the former, and hopefully, the next president of the United States, Donald Trump."

He added: "Now, let the Caravan begin its journey. This is just the starting point."

Ghalib’s endorsement of Trump comes after the two met in Flint earlier this week for a private 20-minute conversation.

Ghalib told The Detroit News that Trump "knew a lot about me before the meeting."

"We talked about various topics including the debates, the polls updates, the statistics of votes in Michigan and Wayne County, the Arab American concerns and the Yemeni Americans in particular. We also talked about the situation in Yemen," Ghalib said.

Hamtramck is the only U.S. city governed entirely by Muslims, with more than 40% of the city’s population foreign-born.

Hamtown has seen a huge shift over the last 30 years. My Polish in-laws complain that 'all the Muslims took the city away from us' when what really happened is white flight to the suburbs. It's funny to me because they have common cause with the fundamentalist views being expressed in the city now but it's just the wrong religion. It's like 'wake up, you could all be hating the same people TOGETHER' 

Michigan has its share of shitty regressive views.

lurking since the old NeoGAF days, then went on to lurk Resetera when the old place became bad. Basically: I know you, but you don't know me :>

I'm a near 40yo game enthusiast, although I've gotten pretty critical of the industry and am waiting for the next "big game" that "changes everything". In the past, these games would to me would be stuff like Mass Effect 1, BotW or PlayStation VR 1 (not a game, but experiencing VR-games had that Mario64-feeling again, if you know what I mean).

Currently looking forward to Switch 2 more than anything else really. Plan to build a new PC, too, but waiting for NVidia's 50xx-series to arrive.

Other than that I'm really glad that Resetera seems to be one of the rare places in the ... world where the situation in Gaza and now Lebanon are reported and discussed in a truthful manner. I'm from Germany and the way politicians and journalists warp reality to defend Israel's crimes against humanity are sickening me to the core, so it has been a great help to my mental health to read that thread in the OT.

Not sure how active I'm gonna be, because I'm so used to just lurking, but maybe once Switch 2 is revealed, I'll have more reason to engage. Otherwise I might simply post in the above mentioned thread to engage with some good people <3
