The reason it's so enjoyable is that the moderation at NeoGAF and subsequently Resetera have always been favourable to the Sony Ponies and have always strenuously denied their favouritism in the face of all the evidence to the contrary.

Crazy seeing all these articles on Afghanistan acting like they give a shit about them. The US brutalized the country for 20 years with killings, raping, child exploitation, opium trafficking, and so on and the media did everything they could to hide it. Saw another article about the taliban banning poppy farming and how it hurts the afghan farmers rights.

The only place in the whole country that got to experience a different life was Kabul. Everywhere else was Taliban land. That's the real cruelty inflicted by the US is making these people of Kabul think that there was hope for a future without the taliban then it exploded right in their faces as they watched the US storm out of the country while flipping them off saying soo long suckers.

This ending was inevitable. You can't go into a country and bomb it into oblivion and abuse, berate, mock and butcher the people there and then expect something positive to come out of it.
