So splitting the old thread requires me to load the entire thread and then individually pick which posts to split. I thought it would let me do it more automatically.

Until I figure out another method the old one will load like shit.

Skill Up can never be forgiven until he sufficiently prostrates himself to them:

Yeh, see above mate. I don't really care if he isn't going to actually stand up and say something about that old content directly. It's exhausting having to deal with the state of gaming culture, and that old channel of his is the exact kind of thing that helped get us to where we are today.

Appearing on the channel is endorsing it's views and message as far as I'm concerned. If you want to relitigate that ban PM a mod or something, here you're just shouting into the wind.

Doesn't matter Skill Up makes good, thoughtful reviews, is seemingly progressive politically, or said nothing bigoted. He was on a now dead "chud/Gamergate" channel years ago hosted by him and his brother. It can never be forgiven or forgotten.

 Aight I gave you benefit of the doubt and rewatched his TLOU2 review and I'm confused about who's doing the revisionism here. He does not mention an agenda EVEN once during the review - and I don't doubt that the gamergate chuds latched onto it because it's a negative review much like they are this Dragon Age one but him not liking the game =/= him being a right wing chud himself.

TLOU2 review he did was, much like this one, pretty well thought out and brought up a bunch of criticisms of the game both in gameplay and narrative (He admits he never liked the gameplay of TLOU much but the characters carried it for him) and his issues with the narrative stem more from unlikeable characters with unrealistic motivations.

Not liking something that bigots also don't like doesn't make you a bigot if it's not for the same reasons.

But please, continue to accuse me of revisionism.

I ramyeon for trying. But all he likely did was just put a big target on his back. Don't be surprised when he gets a lengthy ban for something small/petty in the near future.

You guys are lucky I did MySQL stuff almost twenty years ago because my plan is that I'm going to attempt to split that thread by going into the database and changing the threadids on all the posts, which I can do with a simple single line query.

If you come back to a bunch of incomprehensible code errors instead of a forum that's the reason.

For the record, I could not turn up anything about mybb having thread limits that degrade performance. I suppose it's possible no other forum using it has had 70,000 replies to a thread before, the largest thread on the mybb forums has less than 30,000.
