Foreign and domestic lobbying interests against the grassroots popularity achieved by certain movements on TikTok that are far more likely to be moderated and stamped down by American companies (Pro-Palestine movements, Pro-LGBTQ groups, Yemen advocacy, etc)

It is far harder for those things to spread on Tiktok specifically because the algorithm is truly user based and not "Oh you like Star Was, well, here's some anti-feminist content! Oh you clicked on it? 😃 HERE'S MOREEEE! Yes it will take you ages to get rid of this no matter what you do. Unless you literally mod your web browser to change how this website functions."

Yes, because it has millions and millions of users, far right content exists on the platform, but it's far worse on American social media companies. Because they have a legitimate interest in pushing that content to as many users as possible. With one of the leaders of a major site actively endorsing and repeating that content daily.

Yea read my edit. You cannot make the argument that the "new kid" is actively causing more harms than the websites actively responsible for pushing Trump into the white house, sites that're going for round 2 this year. American's biggest problem is right wingers terrorism/nationalism. And that has the biggest foothold, not the app most used by young people, but on American websites. Thus it stands to reason that the BIGGEST concern, should be those, and that we should instead read the room, or watch the room, and use critical thinking to come to the conclusion that there has not been a single politician interested in banning Tiktok for reasons that benefit the American people.

benji, I think you realize this was a cheap joke. you simply saw that cluey rhymed with bluey and thought it was funny, but there is not really anything about rogan that relates to bluey in any way, unless it's some sort of disparagement toward his intelligence, like he is only able to comprehend and enjoy children's shows. but this is also ultimately a rather lame dig. you are welcome to make a second attempt, but understand that our expectations adhere to a higher standard than this.
