So I've had a look at Nepenthe's linked in. 

She's an absolute fucking loser who lists dog walking as an achievement. The whole thing is a string of lies. She claims to be part of a volunteer project to have basically built a house for a 'client' for 7 years. 

Nepenthe, maybe if you didn't spend your life being a horrible dickhead on the internet you'd have done something with your life. Just a thought.

Looking at her school and college stuff, it puts her about 34/35. Which means she's closing in on middle aged, never had a real job, has no hopes of any kind of career, still lives with her parents and has absolutely nothing of value in her life other than being an internet bully.

The only people who want to do "sex work" are men. No woman "likes" "sex work". Sex isn't a job, should not be compensated and should not exist. Of course we live in an incorrect system so it does, but in a truly just world there would be no such thing as sex for material gain. Defenders of "sex work" are porn consumers trying to justify their own consumption of r*pe on camera. I'm atheist, so don't assume I come at this from a religious angle.

No one talks about the "sex work" that no one sees. The stuff that isn't filmed. And here are the facts - until "sex work" aka filmed r*pe is abolished women will never be considered as more than sexual objects by men. It's simply not ok. Also, considering that they're hostages it seems any sex slavery or rape at all is a formalized and systemic problem considering Hamas claims to be the legal governing body.

Ultimately, no matter how people frame it, what happened was that Atlus prioritised the male protagonist over the female one. They could had the game with only the female protagonist if they wanted, but they did not.

It would be pretty damn stupid to not prioritize the male protagonist over the FeMC given that he is pretty much represents the Persona 3 series alongside Aegis. 

The goal posts moved from “is pretty easy to give us FeMC. Ubisoft can!” to “Okay, is not actually cheap and requires effort given the how many parts of the story are rewritten in the PSP version… but they should do it over the male.”

If have this theory that trans people are so desperate for female characters because they absolutely despise the idea of identifying with a man. Cis people have no issue with identifying with someone of the opposite gender as they're obviously just very confident in their identity. Meanwhile trans women (or at least a portion of them) have to absolutely reject everything male and identifying with a male character is just completely out of the question as that only reminds them of the old identity which they reject.

Like obviously cis women also want representation but at the same time the almost all male FF15 still ended up being the most popular one among women. Meanwhile Persephone despises that game

They act like the female protagonist in P3 is simultaneously a trivial amount of work to add but it's also somehow game changing to the point it completely changes how people perceive the game. The power fantasy talk is even funnier because the script changes in the girl's route makes all the characters nicer to the MC and even rewrites lines where party members praise the MC and the MC alone instead of each other or the whole team

I am really looking forwards to it too for a variety of reasons. I've been looking for a good brain off game lately as a way to relax with all my medical stuff going on and Bridie, my "headkid" or child alter (whom some of you would have seen post in this thread and she's very sorry about it) is always looking for quality kids games to play, espeically girly ones, because tehre just aren't a lot of new ones any more, and she finds teh Nancy Drew ones a bit scary. My favourite costume is probably the Cowboy because it reminds me of Applejack from MLP, but hers is probably the mermaid because she's really into Peter Pan right now and she loves the mermaids in that, but she also likes the baker due to Peach's hair in that outfit.

I missed this thanks to all the PoliEra fun yesterday.
